| metadata.dc.description.resumo: | A presente monografia, aborda o conhecimento das mulheres Krahô sobre os usos e significados da água e a sua importância na manutenção e produção da vida para a sociedade Krahô. A análise sobre os usos e significados da água, está fundamentada a partir dos mitos, e sequencialmente sobre a noção de corpo dos Krahô. A pesquisa está amparada pelas vivências do trabalho de campo, em visitas realizadas nas famílias Krahô, na observação de como e quando usam a água, no ato de ver e ouvir as mulheres falarem sobre seus conhecimentos relacionados à água, nas esferas do uso doméstico, ritualístico e dos cuidados com o corpo. E o repasse do conhecimento através dos mitos, que envolve, nascimento, resguardos e costumes que envolvem a gestação e nascimento do filho, para garantir que este novo ser, tenha o corpo bonito e com saúde. A importância da água para os Krahô é vista tanto nos mitos que mantém a estrutura social dos Krahô, quando no cotidiano do uso da água, e na manutenção física e cultural e social do povo. |
| Abstract: | The present monograph addresses the knowledge of Krahô women about the uses and meanings of water and its importance in the maintenance and production of life for Krahô society. The analysis of the uses and meanings of water is based on myths, and consequently on the notion of the body of the Krahô. The research is supported from the experiences of fieldwork, from visits to Krahô families, observing how and when they use water, seeing and hearing women spoke about their knowledge related to water in the spheres. of domestic use, ritualistic and body care. And the transfer of knowledge through myths, which involves, birth, guards and customs from pregnancy to childbirth, to ensure that this new being has a beautiful and healthy body. The importance of water to the Krahô is seen both in the myths that maintain the social structure of the Krahô, in the daily use of water, and in the physical, cultural and social maintenance of the people. |
