Um estudo introdutório da língua Esperanto

Abstract

This research aims to present a brief theoretical study on the Esperanto language, fruit of the reflections of Lázaro Luis Zamenhof, who created it in the year 1887. It is the proposal of an international language that helps the communication between the most varied peoples. It is important to highlight some grammatical features that is simple and regular and the vocabulary that the radicals in which the majority comes from the European languages, from its origin. It is a planned international language, designed not to replace national languages, but to serve as an additional language, a second language for all. It does not belong to a people or country, so it functions as a neutral language. Today Esperanto is a language that works in fullness and is used by many people. The methodology that we use in this research is of the bibliographic type, we can verify that some linguistic ideas developed by the Lázaro Luis Zamenhof to make the language esperanto by an international language that helps the communication between the most varied nations. This paper intends to present an analysis to the question of Esperanto as a proposal of universal language. It seeks to find if the essential features of the grammar of Esperanto hold until today, even in the course of its 132 years of existence.
