A atuação do pedagogo em espaço não escolar: o caso da Ciretran no município de Miranorte

Abstract

This work was intended to analyze and identify the role of the pedagogue in non-school education and focused on investigating the topic from the practices of traffic education, from the State Department of Transit of Tocantins - DETRAN / TO at CIRETRAN in Miranorte / To. This investigation explored the following pertinent guiding questions, which are: What is the origin of the debate about non-school education? What is Detran and what is its role in society? How is the education of the pedagogue articulated to work in non-school spaces? In view of the questions, the following problem arises: What is the importance of the pedagogue's performance in public offices, such as Detran, and what is the nature of his work within this institution? We supported several authors to establish bibliographic research on the trajectory of non-school education and the area of pedagogy, such as, for example, Maria da Glória Gohn, Paulo GhiraldelliJúnior, Carlos Rodrigues Brandão among others. In the research part, we used the semi-structured interview in the form of a questionnaire as a data collection instrument. The professionals responsible for the traffic education portfolio at CIRETRAN in Miranorte / To were subjects of the research. Finally, we conclude that the area of non-formal education is a field that has been consolidating and becoming necessary and urgent for citizen training and that the Pedagogy course is essential in the education of educators to work in these spaces.
