dc.description.abstract	During an observation made by the curiosity of researchers on the history of the parish of Our Lady of Consolation, was realized the importance of knowing about the local history of the city, which is intertwined with the history of the parish, consequently with the diocese and its representations religious. Thus began a research paper in books by regional authors, about the history of the city in official documents of the parish and a conversation with the ancient inhabitants of the same. By examining the documents, it observed the educational character of these religious entities and their contributions to regional and history education.	pt_BR

dc.description.resumo	Durante uma observação feita mediante a curiosidade de pesquisadores, sobre a história da Paróquia Nossa Senhora da Consolação, foi percebido a importância de saber sobre a história local da cidade, onde se entrelaçava com a história da paróquia, consequentemente com da Diocese e com suas representações religiosas. Dessa forma, iniciou-se um trabalho de pesquisa em livros de autores regionais sobre a história da cidade e em documentos oficias da paróquia e uma conversação com os antigos moradores da mesma. Ao examinar os documentos observa- se o caráter educativo dessas entidades religiosas e suas contribuições com a educação regional e historicidade.	pt_BR
