Estudo da eficiência energética de edificações em Palmas –TO: avaliação do restaurante universitário segundo o RTQ-C

Abstract

Constructions are responsible for a big share of energy consumption in the world. Brazil is following this tendency, proving the need of further research on their energy efficiency. Therefore, the following academical work has the purpose of studying and applying the Brazilian standards of energy efficiency, by meanings of evaluating UFT’s Restaurante Universitário (university cafeteria), Palmas campus. This evaluation was realized focusing projects and erect buildings, according to the prescriptive method settled in RTQ-C – the ongoing nationwide regulation established by the fusion between Inmetro, Procel and LabEEE. Restaurante Universitário received a ‘level C’ grade for the erect building, but was not able to have its project properly evaluated, awarding a partial ENCE label, based on analysis during the making of this work. Although the building was evaluated as average, it is possible to verify the usage of some efficient measures and potential conditions to reach a ‘level A’ grade upon few modifications.
