A escritura do fato gramatical e a questão da “variação linguística”: uma gramática normativa em foco.

Abstract

In this work, based on theories of Orlandi (2001) and Milner (1983), we will deal with a theoretical-analytical discussion whose general objective is to analyze and problematize the role and nature of "linguistic variation" proposed by a normative grammar of the Portuguese Language, namely: New grammar of contemporary Portuguese, by Celso Cunha and Lindley Cintra (2001). This proposal of discussion was born of the restlessness, with which we read the normative attempt to contemplate via the theoretical construct "linguistic variation", the existence and pertinence of other varieties of language, in addition to that considered as the "cultured norm". In view of this, theorizations of Orlandi (2001), most notably the principle that normative grammars are based on the perspective of defining a national language, have proved extremely relevant in order to think in other terms the plot of inscription of this theoretical construct in normative grammars. In Milner (1983), we find theoretical contribution to think that all grammar is resultant between: (1) All Linked and (2) constructible limit. It is that the writing of the grammatical fact is born of this game between (1) and (2). To that end, we proposed the following research question: Why is the theoretical construct "linguistic variation", as presented by certain normative grammars of the Portuguese Language, and the grammar focused in this work, part of this work, can produce, in in a certain way, contrary to what is proposed, the intensification of the role and nature of the normative value attributed to the national language? Thus, through discursive sequences, we will construct our analysis work in order to emphasize the relation between the normative writing of grammatical fact and the theoretical construct on canvas.
