Folias do Divino Espírito Santo: tradições e religiosidade de Arraias/TO

Abstract

This article seeks to discuss a tradition and religiosity present in the municipality of Arraias- Tocantins, with emphasis on the way that it occurs as three traditional folias of the Divino Espírito Santo that travels through it and its surrounding regions. It had as general objective, analysis of the meaning that a leaf of Divino Espírito Santo has for future generations, because from the revelers' reports this tradition is reinforced in your company. The methodology used was characterized by a qualitative approach, applied nature, with an exploratory nature and bibliographic and field procedures. This type is used whenever essential to extract the information directly from the people and data that the data can be collected from a significant sample so that, later on, they can be identified earlier. When analyzing the results obtained, it becomes evident that the new generation understands the emotional, cultural, affective and spiritual factors that the Folia do Divino Espírito Santo has. Taking this theme as the object of study of the course conclusion work is in line with affirming this rich tradition in the municipality of Arraias-TO.
