O ensino de Geografia para a formação de um professor: experiências dos estágios obrigatórios realizados no Colégio Estadual Guilherme Dourado em Araguaína – TO (2018-2019)

Abstract

The research developed as a course conclusion paper deals with the experience of mandatory internships as a training element for a student-intern and its main objective is to analyze the experience of the intern in the school environment and describe the influence of this experience in his training process as a future teacher of geography. To start, readings were made referring to the history of geography in Brazil, pointing out: the object of study of this science, its arrival in Brazilian territory, its subsistence during the period of the Brazilian military regime and its institutionalization as a school and higher education subject. Then, in order to qualify the research, information was collected about the legislation that legitimizes and establishes criteria for carrying out the internship as an educational tool for professional training in the workplace. Finally, expressive information was collected to carry out the practical experience of the internship, information present in the internship reports of the author of the work. The result of the work was positive, as through research it was possible to elucidate the clear importance of building the affective bond established between the intern and the granting unit and the positive impact of the experience, under his perception as a future professional in the area of education. The treatment category is a case study, as it has advantages and disadvantages that can occur during the internship experience
