Gestão pública: uma análise das políticas públicas no turismo.

Abstract

The present work has the main objective of research to analyze the Public Tourism Management and its main directions. The effects of tourism activity are felt, in fact, at national and regional levels. The importance of knowing and understanding how the development of Tourism is in the bias of public management is the central driver of this research, since tourism is a respectable phenomenon that brings numerous economic, social, cultural and environmental benefits. It is a worldwide activity of expansion, which causes wealth and income distribution. In the theoretical reference of this work, a review of concepts about the public policies of Tourism in Brazil, about its role for local development is made, evidencing the applications of policies for the tourism sector. As a research methodology, this work is characterized as a bibliographical and documentary analysis, where the main legal theoretical contributions on the subject were reviewed. The results, the bibliographic survey of the Brazilian public management and its analysis are reported.
