dc.description.abstract	This study aims to understand the military dictatorship, through the narratives of the writer Carlos Heitor Cony which promotes resistance to the regime in the book chronicles the Act and the fact that it was published in 1964, the newspaper Correio da Manhã. We will also analyze the role and the concept of intellectual from the call that Cony make these in chronic "The Time of Intellectuals". The Brazilian military regime despised democracy, stripped mandates, arrested, tortured and killed the state's opponents, the military practiced serious violations of human rights, legitimized by the will to provide the National Security, a military movement that according to them, it was a "Revolution".	pt_BR

dc.description.resumo	O presente trabalho tem como finalidade compreender a ditadura militar, através das narrativas do escritor Carlos Heitor Cony que promove a resistência ao regime nas crônicas do livro O ato e o fato, que foi publicado em 1964, no jornal Correio da Manhã. Analisaremos também, o papel e o conceito de intelectual a partir da convocação que Cony faz a estes na crônica "A Hora dos Intelectuais". O regime militar brasileiro desprezou a democracia, cassou mandatos, prendeu, torturou e matou os opositores do Estado, os militares praticaram graves violações aos direitos humanos, legitimados pela vontade de proporcionar a Segurança Nacional, um movimento militar que segundo estes, se tratava de uma "Revolução".	pt_BR
