metadata.dc.description.resumo:	O presente trabalho tem como objetivo compreender aspectos da representação do feminino no século XIX, através da análise de duas obras literárias. As obras escolhidas foram “Lucíola” (1862), de José de Alencar e “A Normalista” (1893), de Adolfo Caminha. Desse modo, o estudo buscou analisar o papel feminino na sociedade oitocentista pela ótica do movimento Romântico e do Naturalista, numa pesquisa que se situa na relação entre história e literatura.
Abstract:	The present work has as objective the research of the analysis of two literary works.The works chosen were "Lucíola" (1862), by José de Alencar and "A Normalista" (1893) by Adolfo Caminha.Thus, the study sought to analyze the feminine role in nineteenth-century society from the point of view of the Romantic and Naturalist movements, in a research based on the relationship between history and literature.
