O xadrez como ferramenta pedagógica no ensino da matemática.

Abstract

Through the educational scene that we are inserted, appeared the teachers’ need to search for diversified ways to make easier the students’ assimilation with the teached theme. An possible option for that estrategy is the use of Mathematics education through the games as the resource of teaching in the schools, this present work brings the bibliographic study, and a pratic, of how we can use the chess game in the classroom. The teaching Matehematics with the use of games in teaching is an opportunity of turning the classes and consequently the teaching more pleasing, the use of chess more especific in the math teach is a challenger resource with a range of possibility of cognitive improving, trough the concentration and reasoning for who practice. In the elapse of the work will be shown the benefits that the chess can give as well as the importance in the teaching. This present work will bring up an experience of the use of chess in the math teach with the students of the first grade “C” of the Colégio Estadual Pré-Universitário (CPU).
