| metadata.dc.description.resumo: | O objetivo desta pesquisa é compreender a motivação de pais biológicos para a prática da adoção. Compreendendo adoção como uma ação legal de aceitação de alguém como filho(a), que envolve a criação e manutenção de um relacionamento na inserção de uma criança em uma nova família. Utilizar-se-á a psicologia histórico-cultural de Vigotski para compreender o sentido da adoção para o casal participante, a partir de sua vivência. A coleta de dados junto aos participantes ocorreu por meio de entrevistas semiestruturadas no formato remoto através da plataforma online Google Meet. O tratamento do material obtido nos encontros foi realizado por meio da análise de conteúdo temática de Bardin (1977). A partir dos resultados obtidos, no que se refere a motivação do casal para esta prática, percebe-se que a perda de sua segunda filha foi o que, de fato, os fizeram considerar ter mais filhos por meio da adoção, embora a motivação não se restrinja a isto. Além disso, nota-se que as políticas de adoção no Brasil não estão sendo efetivas e que, por vezes, não contemplam as especificidades e a pluralidade deste instituto, atrasando processos e impossibilitando o direito de crianças e adolescentes viverem em família. Portanto verifica-se a necessidade de se ampliar ainda mais o diálogo acerca da Adoção, em especial a adoção por pais que já tem filhos biológicos, com o intuito de melhor prepará-los e ampará-los diante dos desafios que possam enfrentar. |
| Abstract: | The objective of this research is to understand the motivation of biological parents for the practice of adoption. Understanding adoption as a legal action of accepting someone as a child, which involves creating and maintaining a relationship in the insertion of a child into a new family. Vygotsky's historical-cultural psychology will be used to understand the meaning of adoption for the participating couple, based on their experience. Data collection with the participants took place through semi-structured interviews in remote format through the Google Meet online platform. The treatment of the material obtained in the meetings was carried out through the thematic content analysis of Bardin (1977). From the results obtained, regarding the couple's motivation for this practice, it can be seen that the loss of their second daughter was what, in fact, made them consider having more children through adoption, although the motivation was not restricted itself to it. In addition, it is noted that adoption policies in Brazil are not being effective and that, sometimes, they do not contemplate the specificities and plurality of this institute, delaying processes and making it impossible for children and adolescents to live as a family. Therefore, there is a need to further expand the dialogue about Adoption, especially adoption by parents who already have biological children, in order to better prepare and support them in the face of the challenges they may face. |
