| metadata.dc.description.resumo: | O estágio curricular foi realizado no Hospital Veterinário “Governador Laudo Natel”, junto à Faculdade de Ciências Agrárias e Veterinárias (FCAV) da Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP) campus Jaboticabal, estado de São Paulo-SP, em duas áreas distintas, a primeira parte foi realizada na área de Obstetrícia Veterinária, no período entre 03 de novembro a 12 de dezembro de 2014 e a segunda parte foi desempenhada junto à área de Clínica Médica de Pequenos Animais, no período de 05 de janeiro a 27 de fevereiro de 2015, completando 540 horas. Durante o período de estágio foram acompanhados 80 casos na Obstetrícia Veterinária e na segunda parte foram acompanhados 91 casos na Clínica Médica de Pequenos Animais. Aos estagiários era permitido assistir os residentes nos atendimentos clínicos, realizar anamnese, exame físico, auxiliar na colheita de material biológico para realização de exames complementares, assessoria nos exames ultrassonográficos e radiográficos elaboração de receitas médicas, realização de tricotomia, acompanharem e/ou auxiliar procedimentos cirúrgicos e administrar medicamentos quando previamente requerido pelo residente. O presente trabalho tem como objetivo descrever as atividades desenvolvidas, bem como relatar um caso clínico acompanhado ao longo do estágio. |
| Abstract: | The traineeship was accomplished in the Veterinary Hospital “Governador Laudo Natel” in partnership with the College of Animal Science and Veterinary (Faculdade de Ciências Agrárias e Veterinárias - FCAV) of the Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP), located in Jaboticabal, São Paulo-SP, covering two distinct areas: the first one realized in Veterinary Obstetrics between November 3rd to December 12th of 2014; while the second one was performed by the area of Medical Clinic of Small Animals between January 05th to February 27th of 2014, where both completed 540 hours of traineeship. During the period of the traineeship, the number of clinical cases accompanied in Veterinary Obstetrics was 80, while in Medical Clinic of Small Animals; it was possible to follow 91 clinical cases. The trainees were allowed to attend the residents in their clinical care, to realize the anamnesis and physical exam and to assist the biological collect to realize the complementary exams. The trainees could also advice on ultrasound and radiographic examinations, preparation of prescriptions, to assist the realization of trichotomy, monitor and /or assist surgical procedures and finally, administer medications as previously requested by the resident. This current study aims to describe the activities developed, as well as report a clinical case accompanied along the traineeship. |
