| metadata.dc.description.resumo: | O estágio curricular foi realizado em duas instituições, sendo a primeira no Hospital Veterinário da Universidade Federal de Uberlândia, na cidade de Uberlândia-MG, na área de Clínica Médica de Pequenos Animais, no período de 03 de Novembro a 17 de Dezembro de 2014, no qual foram acompanhados 102 casos, totalizando 248 horas, e a segunda foi realizada no Hospital Veterinário “Governador Laudo Natel”, da Faculdade de Ciências Agrárias e Veterinárias (FCAV) da Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP), campus de Jaboticabal, estado de São Paulo-SP, na área de Clínica Cirúrgica de Pequenos Animais, no período de 05 de Janeiro a 27 de Fevereiro de 2015, no qual foram acompanhados 67 casos, totalizando 300 horas de atividade. No estágio era permitida a realização da anamnese, do exame físico, a colheita de materiais para exames complementares e administrar medicamentos nos pacientes atendidos e/ou internados, além de auxiliar ou acompanhar procedimentos cirúrgicos, sempre sob a supervisão do residente/professor responsável. O presente trabalho tem como objetivo descrever as atividades realizadas, e ainda relatar dois casos acompanhados durante estes períodos. |
| Abstract: | The academic fellowship was carried out in two institutions, the first in the Veterinary Hospital of the Federal University of Uberlândia, in the city of Uberlândia, Minas Gerais, in the area of Clinical Small Animal, from November 3 to December 17, 2014, in which 102 cases were followed, totaling 248 hours, and the second was held at the “Governador Laudo Natel” Veterinary Teaching Hospital of the College of Agricultural and Veterinary Sciences at São Paulo State University (UNESP), campus of Jaboticabal, São Paulo, Brazil, in the area of Small Animal Surgical Clinic in the period from January 5 to February 27, 2015, which were followed 67 cases, totaling 300 hours of activity. To the trainees it was allowed to do the anamnesis, physical examination, the collection of materials for further examinations and administer medications in visited and / or hospitalized patients, and help or follow surgical procedures, always under the supervision of resident / responsible teacher. This paper aims to describe the activities carried out, and still report two cases followed during these periods. |
