Tecnologias digitais e educação: um estudo sobre Webquest como estratégia pedagógica no interior do Tocantins

Abstract

This research is part of the Stricto Sensu Graduate Program, Professional Master's in Education, in the line of research methodologies and techniques of teaching and learning in basic education. This is an investigation into the use of the webquest as a pedagogical strategy capable of fostering collaborative and participatory learning, adding meaning to teaching and learning and to the teacher's mediation work. For this, we defined, as the general objective of this research, to develop didactic/methodological strategies with the use of webquest for the improvement of teaching practices in elementary education in Dianópolis - TO. For this work, in addition to the bibliographical research, we carried out a field research in a municipal school, in the city of Dianópolis, state of Tocantins, with 06 (six) teachers from the 4th and 5th grade classes of Elementary School. In order to achieve the proposed objectives, we used, as a methodology, action research, which is conceived in close association with an action or with the resolution of a collective problem and in which researchers and participants representing the situation or problem are involved in a cooperative or participative way (THIOLLENT, 1997). From the research carried out, it was possible to present to the teachers, as a final product, a result of the action research, a digital guidebook for the use of digital technologies, with emphasis on the webquest. The study revealed the importance of offering continuing education, of this nature, so that teachers can appropriately include digital technologies in their teaching practice.
