| metadata.dc.description.resumo: | Objetivou-se descrever as atividades desenvolvidas no decorrer do Estágio Curricular Supervisionado Obrigatório do curso de Medicina Veterinária da Universidade Federal do Tocantins. O estágio foi realizado na Lageado Biotecnologia e Pecuária EIRELI ME, localizada na região de Novo Progresso - Pará. Durante esse período, a área de reprodução bovina foi destaque dentre as atividades supervisionadas. O estágio foi realizado no período de 13/08/2018 a 26/10/2018, tendo como supervisor o Médico Veterinário Taivo Ferreira Gontijo e orientação do Prof. Dr. Jorge Ferreira, totalizando 416 horas. Durante o estágio foram realizados protocolos de inseminação artificial em tempo fixo, protocolo de indução de puberdade em novilhas, inseminação artificial em tempo fixo (IATF), diagnóstico gestacional com e sem o auxílio ultrassonográfico e consultoria pecuária. O estágio proporcionou interação entre a teoria e a pratica, novos conhecimentos e desafios para melhorar a eficiência reprodutiva, índices reprodutivos e produtivos, bem como contribuir para alcançar melhores resultados na pecuária de corte. |
| Abstract: | The objective of this study was to describe the activities developed during the Mandatory Supervised Curricular Internship of the Veterinary Medicine Federal University of Tocantins. The internship was carried out at the Lageado Biotecnologia e Livestock EIRELI ME, located in the region of Novo Progresso - Pará. During this period, the area of bovine reproduction was highlighted among supervised activities. The traineeship was carried out from 08/13/2018 to 10/26/2018, with the supervision of doctor Veterinarian Taivo Ferreira Gontijo and guidance of Prof. Dr. Jorge Ferreira, totaling 416 hours. During the internship, were done protocols for artificial insemination at fixed time, protocol of induction of puberty in heifers, artificial insemination at fixed time (IATF), gestational diagnosis with and without the ultrasound aid and livestock consultancy. The internship provided interaction between theory and practice, new knowledge and challenges to improve reproductive efficiency, reproductive and productive indices as well as to contribute to achieve better results in beef cattle. |
