| metadata.dc.description.resumo: | O Estágio Curricular Obrigatório Supervisionado em Medicina Veterinária foi realizado na área de Anestesiologia Veterinária, na Faculdade de Ciências Agrárias e Veterinárias, Universidade Estadual Paulista, Júlio de Mesquita Filho, Campus Jaboticabal. O mesmo ocorreu durante o período de 11 de março a 24 de maio de 2019, com carga-horária de 8 horas diárias, totalizando 416 horas, sob supervisão do Prof. Dr. Newton Nunes, na área de anestesiologia veterinária. No estágio foi possível acompanhar e realizar algumas atividades desenvolvidas no Hospital Veterinário como, avaliação pré-anestésica dos pacientes, tricotomia, cateterização venosa e arterial, preparo de fluidoterapia, administração de fármacos, sondagem endotraqueal, acompanhamento do retorno anestésico dos pacientes, entre outros. Os pacientes eram preparados para a realização de procedimentos cirúrgicos, exames de imagem ou procedimentos ambulatoriais. Este trabalho visa descrever o local de estágio, bem como a casuística acompanhada e relatar a anestesia de uma cadela com endocardiose valvar mitral submetida ao procedimento cirúrgico de nodulectomia. |
| Abstract: | The Obligatory Curricular Training Supervised in Veterinary Medicine was carried out in the Veterinary Anesthesiology area, at the Faculty of Agrarian and Veterinary Sciences, State University of São Paulo, Júlio de Mesquita Filho, Jaboticabal Campus. The same occurred during the period from March 11 to May 24, 2019, with a workload of 8 hours per day, totaling 416 hours, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Newton Nunes, in the area of veterinary anesthesiology. The following medical clinics were attended: Veterinary Hospital, pre anesthetic evaluation of patients, trichotomy, venous and arterial catheterization, preparation of fluid therapy, administration of drugs, endotracheal catheterization, follow-up of patients' anesthetic return, among others. Patients were prepared for surgical exams, imaging, or outpatient procedures. This work aims to describe the local of clinical as well as the casuistry accompaned and report the anesthesia of a female with mitral valve endocardiosis submitted to the surgical procedure of nodulectomy. |
