Práticas educativas: estudo de caso com velhos de Palmas/TO 2020-2022

Abstract

This dissertation study in Education whose purpose is to get to know the educational practices with elderly people from Palmas in the period from 2020 to 2022. The research methodology proposes a case study, with a qualitative approach, of exploratory nature, which consists of being developed in the bibliographical, documental and field dimensions, in which the data and information collected will be carried out through semistructured interviews. Thetheoretical referential of the study seeks to outline the educational practices of attending to the elderly in two distinct environments, located in the city of Palmas, Tocantins, which are the University of Maturity and State High School Criança Esperança. Three specific objectives were proposed: the first consists in presenting the educational work with elders from the UMA from Palmas Branch; the second, to report on educational practices with elders from the EJA at the State High School Criança Esperança; and the third, to analyze the perceptions of educational practices with elders from Palmas from the two institutions researched. In order to achieve the study's goals, we used normative documents as a reference, such as: the 1988 Constitution of the Federative Republic of Brazil (CRFB); law no. 10.741, of 2003, known as the Elderly Statute law, and law no. 8.842, of 1994, which implemented the National Elderly Policy (PNI). In addition to other guiding documents of the researched Instructions, such as the works of Freire (1996); Aranha (1996), Arroyo (2006), Lyra (1996) Osório (2012) and Beauvoir (1990), which are concomitant with authors who deal with educational practices throughout life and with the discussions that occurred in the period of the Covid- 19 pandemic.
