Mulheres negras que lutaram contra as opressões sociais: um estudo da perspectiva histórica de Jarid Arraes

Abstract

This work has as object, the historical and anti-racist perspective of Jarid Arraes in the work "Heroínas Negras Brasileiras in 15 Cordéis". Our objective was to give visibility to the role of women who fought against social oppression of gender, race and class It is a study that approaches the history of black women in Brazil, the unveiling of racism, prejudice, racial discrimination and its consequences in the life of the Afro-Brazilian population. However, the affirmation of the struggle, resistance and achievements of these women in our history. In the study methodology, we established relationships with the current ethnic-racial laws, such as Law 10.639/2003 and Law 12.288/2010, as well as the anti-racist perspective in our references. We delimit the oppressions experienced by each black woman highlighted in the work and emphasize their roles in history, whether the African woman or the Afro-Brazilian woman. We conclude by the importance of the work in the sense of historical recognition of the protagonism of black women systematized in the didactic, popular form of the cordéis. And so, we suggest the adoption in basic school education, as another important step in the effective implementation of the teaching of African and Afro-Brazilian history in the educational curriculum, as well as the implementation of affirmative action policies.
