Educação de surdos: a importância do intérprete de libras no ensino fundamental

Abstract

The present research presents a study in the area of education for the deaf, highlighting the importance of the Libras interpreter during the schooling of these subjects, with an emphasis on teaching fundamental, as well as their attributions. The purpose of this instrument is to present the need for a sign language interpreter in the education network in the municipality of Porto Nacional, as well as to identify which schools in the municipality have interpreters in the classroom. This is a qualitative research, with a bibliographical and documental survey. At the end, we will present the strengths and weaknesses in the education of the deaf student, emphasizing the interpreter's posture in performing his/her role. Finally, we will presente advances and/or losses in the education of deaf students in the schools surveyed.
