Comum urbano e o direito à cidade: trajetória de luta pela terra na ocupação do Garavelos na cidade de Araguaína – TO

Abstract

In this work, we approach the concept of the urban common and the right to the city in the trajectory of the Garavelos Occupation, in the city of Araguaína-TO. For doing so, the methodology used was fieldwork with a questionnaire whose questions guide the importance of theorizing and practicing the urban common in the perspective of a contemporary vision. In this scenario, in view of the common of the right to the city, the historical sense of the urban common was necessarily analyzed, from a global vision to a regional and local one, with the objective of verifying the infrastructure, as well as structural systems to be implemented. In view of this, we conclude in the didactic notes in teaching and learning in Geography the need to approach these concepts in basic education.
