dc.description.resumo	A pesquisa examina a migração estudantil de residentes em Ananás, Tocantins, para Araguaína, destacando a relevância da Universidade Federal do Norte do Tocantins (UFNT). A qualidade do ensino na UFNT motiva a decisão dos estudantes, apesar dos desafios, como a adaptação psicológica e financeira. A pesquisa também aborda políticas públicas, como a Emenda Constitucional Nº 95, que afetam as instituições de ensino, comprometendo a permanência de estudantes de baixa renda. Destaca-se a importância de proteger o acesso e a permanência desses estudantes para preservar a diversidade e a equidade no ensino superior. Além disso, a dinâmica familiar no contexto da escolarização é explorada, ressaltando a necessidade de um comprometimento intenso e contínuo de famílias e estudantes.
