Análise do projeto político pedagógico em escolas públicas do Norte do Tocantins: um olhar voltado para educação física

Abstract

This work aimed to analyze the Political Pedagogical Project (PPP) in public elementary and secondary schools in the North of Tocantins with a focus on Physical Education. The methodology was based on documentary research, collecting data from seven schools, in which policies, infrastructure and professionals were examined based on the PPPs analyzed, which refer to Physical Education, with the application of a questionnaire to teachers of this discipline belonging to to the teaching staff of the respective units. It was found that schools have the necessary basic structure, requiring public policies, actions and broad effective participation from the community, teaching staff and those interested in the implementation of PPPs. This study highlights the pressing need for educational policies that prioritize Physical Education, adequately incorporating its goals and objectives into school PPPs. This inclusive and balanced approach must guarantee the presence of qualified professionals, as well as promote practices that stimulate the physical, cognitive and social benefits of physical activity in the school environment.
