dc.description.abstract	The present work discusses the contextualization of Environmental Education. It is guided by the following problematization: what do official documents of basic education say about Environmental Education that can be mobilized in the teaching practice of mathematics educators? And it stands out as a general objective the perspective of EE to contribute specifically in the elaboration of pedagogical practices to be developed by mathematics educators. This research is of the bibliographic type, and for the verification of data, records were used and for organization, mental maps were used, which influenced the succinct and cohesive presentation of the data found. It concludes by the low representation given to Environmental Education in the Common National Curricular Base (BNCC) and in the Tocantins Curriculum Document (DCT). It is proposed to overcome the limitations of the documents analyzed through a diagram of connections that favors the creation of articulations between Mathematics Education, Teaching Practice and Environmental Education and some of the skills and competences present in the analyzed documents.	pt_BR

dc.description.resumo	O presente trabalho discorre sobre a contextualização da Educação Ambiental. É norteado pela seguinte problematização: o que os documentos oficiais da educação básica falam sobre a Educação Ambiental (EA) que podem ser mobilizados na prática docente do educador matemático? E destaca-se como objetivo geral a perspectiva da EA contribuir especificamente na elaboração de práticas pedagógicas a serem desenvolvidas pelos educadores matemáticos. Essa pesquisa é do tipo bibliográfica, sendo que para a apuração de dados foram utilizados fichamentos e para organização empregou-se mapas mentais, os quais influenciaram na apresentação sucinta e coesa dos dados encontrados. Conclui-se pela pouca representatividade dada à Educação Ambiental na Base Nacional Comum Curricular (BNCC) e no Documento Curricular do Tocantins (DCT). Propõem-se a superação das limitações dos documentos analisados por meio de um diagrama de conexões que favorece a criação de articulações entre a Educação Matemática, a Prática Docente e a Educação Ambiental e algumas das habilidades e competências presentes nos documentos analisados.	pt_BR
