Os desafios para o trabalho do Assistente Social nas politicas públicas: Programa Bolsa Família em Lajeado Tocantins

Abstract

The present course completion work sought to address the challenges for the work of the Social Worker in public policies: Program family scholarship in Flagging - TO. The General Objective is to know the process of intervention of the Social Worker in the family scholarship Program, the specific objectives to explain the proposal of the family scholarship Program in the Social Assistance Policy, To describe the operational dynamics of the family scholarship program in the CRAS of Flagging – TO, To point out the main social impacts on the lives of the families benefiting from the PBF in Flagging – TO. There was a collection of empirical and bibliographic data, we observed that the work of the Social Worker is to ensure the access of individuals to the social programs of the Unified Registry, among them is the PBF which aims to reduce the situations of social and economic vulnerability of families who need it. Thus, it was concluded that family scholarship family contributes to the fight against poverty. In addition to guaranteeing income for families in situations of poverty. family scholarship seeks to integrate public policies, and strengthens the protection of these families so that they achieve autonomy and overcome situations of social vulnerability. According to Lavinas (2012), the institution of the public policy of social assistance in Brazil expresses the advance of expansion and the recognition of social rights, since its universal principles represent the expansion of social protection and citizenship for all, regardless of employment and contributory ties.
