Literatura infantil e juvenil contra o racismo estrutural a partir da obra o cabelo de Lelê, de Valéria Belém

Abstract

This study discusses issues of Children's and Youth Literature and its importance to work on themes that oppose racism in the classroom. This research proposes how the teacher will have his contribution in this process, how he will be allowing children to access the literary environment in a pleasant and efficient way. The importance of this research is to provide teachers with better ways of working with literature in the school environment and having positive results. For our analysis we brought the book Lelê's Hair, by Valéria Belém, and, as theoretical support, the authors Regina Zilberman, Fanny Abramovich, Antonio Candido, Kabengele Munanga and Rildo Consson. In view of this, a proposal is presented on how to work with such literature.
