A questão social no Brasil: uma análise do desemprego e do analfabetismo nas décadas de 2010 e 2020

Abstract

The social issue can be understood as the manifestations/expressions of inequalities, social problems and injustices that surround the capitalist system. Since the social issue is linked to this production model, these manifestations end up emerging in the population's daily lives. The social issue tends to manifest itself in different ways, depending on the country and location, it ends up assuming another configuration. To understand how the social issue manifests itself in the Brazilian state, we must first understand how the racial issue is deeply linked to this country. It is in this sense, therefore, that this monograph is inserted, with the following objective of analyzing the expressions/manifestations of the social issue in Brazil in the 2010s and 2020s. From a quantitative approach, data were collected from the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) on the following manifestations: unemployment and illiteracy. The results obtained from this study will indicate that the two expressions of the social issue chosen for this work suffered drops in their rates, as the data showed.
