Política Nacional de Enfrentamento a Violência Doméstica Contra a Mulher

Abstract

This final course work sought to analyze the National Policy to combat domestic violence against women in Miracema do Tocantins. The general objective was to analyze the network to combat violence against women, through strategies and intersectoral articulations in the municipality of Miracema do Tocantins. The specific objectives were: to identify the actions that are in force in the National Policy to combat domestic violence against women, to map the types of violence against women, to understand the incidence of violence in women's lives and to point out specialized services to assist women victims of violence in Miracema do Tocantins. The methodological path of this research was through bibliographies, however, I used the legislation, content of the National Secretariat of Policies for Women and the Ministry of Women, and some authors who developed contexts on violence against women, such as: Albuquerque, Magalhães, Pereira and Souza. The research approach will be organized and structured with qualitative and quantitative data, presented according to data collected by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), Specialized Police Station for Assistance to Vulnerable Women (DEAMV), among others. Thus, it is worth highlighting that the relevance of this work occurred in the search for the contribution with information, scientific and bibliographic knowledge, and the socialization of ideas that will jointly help to progress in confronting domestic violence against women in the city of Miracema, and to explain the commitment of the profession in the search for guaranteeing access to women's human rights.
