| metadata.dc.description.resumo: | Este trabalho busca refletir sobre o que é educação a partir das ideias de três importantes pensadores brasileiros: Álvaro Vieira Pinto, Dermeval Saviani e Roseli Salete Caldart. Parte-se da compreensão de que a educação não é neutra nem se limita à transmissão de conteúdos, mas está diretamente ligada à história, à sociedade e às relações políticas. Ao longo do estudo, procura-se mostrar como esses autores entendem a educação como um caminho para o desenvolvimento da consciência crítica, para o acesso democrático ao conhecimento e para a transformação da realidade social. A pesquisa é de caráter qualitativo e baseia-se na leitura e análise de obras e textos fundamentais dos autores estudados. Mesmo considerando as diferenças teóricas e os contextos históricos em que cada um produziu suas reflexões, foi possível identificar pontos em comum, como a importância da escola, o papel central do conhecimento e a valorização dos sujeitos historicamente excluídos. Conclui-se que as contribuições desses pensadores fortalecem o debate educacional brasileiro, ao defenderem uma educação comprometida com a formação humana, a justiça social e a construção de uma sociedade mais democrática. |
| Abstract: | This study seeks to reflect on the meaning of education based on the ideas of three important Brazilian thinkers: Álvaro Vieira Pinto, Dermeval Saviani, and Roseli Salete Caldart. It starts from the understanding that education is neither neutral nor limited to the mere transmission of content, but is directly connected to history, society, and political relations. Throughout the study, the aim is to show how these authors understand education as a pathway to the development of critical consciousness, democratic access to knowledge, and the transformation of social reality. The research is qualitative in nature and is based on the reading and analysis of fundamental works and texts by the authors studied. Even considering the theoretical differences and historical contexts in which each author developed their reflections, it was possible to identify common points, such as the importance of the school, the central role of knowledge, and the appreciation of subjects who have been historically excluded. It is concluded that the contributions of these thinkers strengthen the Brazilian educational debate by advocating for an education committed to human development, social justice, and the construction of a more democratic society. |
