A percepção da equipe de atendimento acerca da violência contra a mulher por parceiro íntimo em Gurupi- TO

Abstract

The objective of this study is to investigate the perception of the care team about violence against the intimate partner victim in Gurupi-TO. The research was developed within the Specialized Court to Combat Domestic and Family Violence against Women and the Specialized Police Department of Gurupi, Tocantins. It is based on the qualitative approach, employing periodic visits to the research sites. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with the 15 subjects involved in the care of women victims of domestic violence. For the analysis of the data, it was used the analysis of qualitative content, which allows to verify the multiple meanings possible in the texts / speeches and allows to answer the questions that specifically aim the work: to identify the perception of the team about violence against women; to verify the perception of the care team about the reception and referrals given to the woman victim of intimate partner violence and to raise the difficulties of the care. As main results, it is relevant to affirm that the LMP as denunciation, investigation and protective measures is carried out and implemented with the maximum efficiency. Specifically, in the category of perception of violence, the oppression over women by men preponderated. With respect to the category of difficulties, it was perceived the need for actions involving prevention and expansion of the service network. Finally, the result of this investigation should be the proposal to implement the Law that is a Public Policy, in the sense of prevention and expansion of the host network, in the municipal scope, being the product generated in this professional master's program.
