O ensino de geografia na escola indígena Sakruiwê da Aldeia Funil no município de Tocantínia -TO

Abstract

The present work aimed to provide information and reflections about the Funil Indigenous Territory: teaching in the indigenous schools present in that village. The methodological procedures, regarding the ends, are classified as a bibliographic and field research, which sought to reflect on the funnel territory and how schools in the village work. The Xerente indigenous territory, called Funil, is located on the banks of the Tocantins River, belonging to the municipality of Tocantinia - TO. The Funil indigenous village is made up of Akwẽ of all ages, some continuing cultural, social, traditional and religious aspects and others breaking them down.
