Análise de risco contra incêndio e pânico: estudo de caso no terminal integrador de Porto Nacional - TO

Abstract

Fire, be it in small or large proportions, can cause material and financial losses and damage to human life. Bearing in mind that a fire and panic fire fighting system, suitable as legislation and effective in the event of an accident, can minimize or even extinguish any eminent risks. This work aimed to elaborate a risk analysis of the security system against fire and panic of the Integrator Terminal of Porto Nacional in Tocantins, checking if the establishment is in accordance with the state legislation and the requirements of the Technical Norms of the Military Fire Brigade do Tocantins (CBMTO). The research was carried out through technical visits on site using the state's technical standards and the establishment's PPCI, to assist in the analysis and detailing of all existing areas and systems. In this way, data and quantitative data were collected regarding the systems and equipment for preventing and fighting fires in the building, in addition to making photographic records for a better demonstration. Items that were in compliance or non-compliance were analyzed, and the proportions were adequate for nonconformities. The indispensable results that the establishment has the proper system, but that some signs need to be replaced. It is concluded that in the event of accidents, the system found will contribute effectively to the alert and evacuation of the local population, the fight against fire and the preservation of heritage.
