| metadata.dc.description.resumo: | O presente relatório tem por finalidade descrever a rotina e atividades realizadas no Estágio Curricular Supervisionado do curso de Medicina Veterinária da Universidade Federal do Tocantins. O estágio foi realizado no período de 11 de setembro a 17 de novembro de 2021, com carga horária de 345 horas, nas áreas de clínica, cirurgia e reprodução de grandes animais, em que foi possível acompanhar atividades relacionadas à assistência técnica a propriedades rurais, bem como registro de bovinos da raça Senepol. Neste relatório é feita a descrição de um caso clínico de doença respiratória em um bezerro, elucidando o impacto da enfermidade na sanidade do rebanho e no bem estar dos animais. |
| Abstract: | This report aims to describe the routine and activities performed in the mandatory curricular internship of Veterinary Medicine course of Federal University of Tocantins. The internship was conducted from September 11th to November 17th 2021, with a workload of 345 hours, in the areas of clinical, surgery and reproduction of large animals; it was also possible to follow activities related to technical assistance to rural properties, as well as registration of Senepol cattle. This report describes a clinical case of respiratory disease in a calf, elucidating the impact of the disease on herd health and animal welfare. |
