Abstract

The Mandatory Supervised Curricular Internship (ECSO) was carried out under the supervision of Veterinarian Yan Oliveira Lacerda and under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Thássia Silva Reis, during the period from January 19, 2021 to April 1, 2021, totaling one workload of 424 hours. The activities carried out were carried out in properties located in the north of Tocantins and southeast of Pará, comprising the areas of production and reproduction of beef cattle. The main activities carried out were the implementation of fixed-time artificial insemination protocols (IATF), gestational diagnoses by ultrasound and transrectal palpation, gynecological exams and maternity management. The supervised curricular internship has its great importance in training, in which it provides the undergraduate student with a greater approximation with the reality of their professional performance. Moment of theoretical and practical improvement of the techniques learned during graduation and opportunity to resolve doubts and uncertainties in your profession. A unique period, to which every effort and interest is extremely important for the future of the professional.
