| Resumo: | Este trabalho apresenta uma pesquisa de cunho qualitativo e quantitativo acerca do ensino do conteúdo de estatística no Ensino Médio. Ao observar o quanto a estatística está presente no nosso cotidiano, surgiu o desejo de analisar como está o aprendizado dos alunos no que se refere à leitura e compreensão de gráficos e tabelas. Com isso, viu-se a necessidade de saber como ela está sendo ensinada em sala de aula, e procurar responder a questão norteadora desse trabalho. Como está à compreensão dos alunos em relação a gráficos e tabelas? Utilizou-se como instrumento de obtenção de informações um questionário e atividades apresentadas a 94 alunos de quatro turmas de terceira série do Ensino Médio de uma escola pública de Araguaína – TO. Com alguns embasamentos teóricos e principalmente com as instruções dos Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais de Matemática do Ensino Médio (PCNEM), confirmou-se a importância do ensino de conteúdos estatísticos para o desenvolvimento pessoal e profissional do aluno. Os PCNEM de matemática mostram como deve se dar esse ensino de estatística, visando as habilidades e competência que o aluno deve ter ao concluir essa etapa escolar. No entanto, percebeu-se que o ensino de estatística é pouco evidenciado e que os alunos têm muitas dificuldades com o tema trabalhado. |
| Abstract: | This work presents a qualitative and quantitative nature of research about the statistical content teaching in high school. By observing how the statistic is present in our daily lives, came the desire to analyze how is the learning of students with regard to reading and understanding graphs and tables. With that, it was the need to know how it is being taught in the classroom, and try to answer the main question of this work. How is the understanding of students in relation to graphs and tables? It was used as a tool to obtain information a questionnaire and activities presented to 94 students from four classes of third high school grade of a public school Araguaína - TO. With some theoretical substantiation and especially with the instructions of the High School Mathematics Curriculum Parameters (PCNEM), confirmed the importance of teaching statistical content for personal and professional development of the student. Math PCNEM show how to give this teaching of statistics, aiming skills and competence that the student should have gotten this school stage. However, it was realized that the statistical teaching is little evident and that students have many difficulties with the subject worked. |
