Pornografia infantojuvenil no capitalismo tardio: uma reflexão acerca da formação humana

Abstract

Child and adolescent pornography is a crime provided for in the Child and Adolescent Statute and is configured as a type of commercial sexual exploitation, which has recently been addressed by psychology. Our objective in this study is to analyze the relationship between child and adolescent sexual exploitation in pornography and the late capitalist system, understanding how the child and adolescent body becomes commercialized and this process impacts on human formation. This study is classified as a bibliographical research, which chose as primary sources the data available on the platform of the National Observatory for Children and Adolescents and Safernet Brasil. The analyzes carried out were inspired by the theory of historical-dialectical materialism. From this perspective, the dialectical process is understood as a practice that can transform the previous reality into a historical-social plane, in view of this, a theoretical reflection of reality is not only about art, but also a reflection on transformation. Carrying out the research allowed us to infer that the human formation of children and adolescents victims of commercial sexual exploitation, including pornography, is impacted when these bodies, intermingled with guilt, sadness and non-appropriation of their historicity, are taken as fetishized objects of consumption, making it impossible to the emancipation of mankind. In the final considerations, we present the challenges in preparing the research, taking into account the fact that it is a relatively new subject in psychology, needing to be deepened from a critical perspective, valuing the being as a social and transforming agent. We sought throughout the work to elucidate how the juvenile body is taken as a commodity in pornography and the effects of this on human formation.
