O território do Jalapão: perspectivas e desafios para implementação dos objetivos do desenvolvimento sustentável

Abstract

The research intends to be a work that is in accordance with the new development paradigm. The topic addressed involves the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)s and territorial development. These global goals are a call to build an inclusive, resilient and sustainable future for all people and the entire planet. Thus, the main objective of this research is the perception of the stage of implementation of the SDGs in the municipalities that belong to the Territory of Citizenship of Jalapão (TCJ), in the territorial perspective. Such as knowing the stages of sustainable territorial development implemented in the TCJ, characterizing and quantifying the actions implemented by the city halls of the territory of Jalapão that include the SDGs, provided for in the 2030 agenda. The methodological basis is based on a qualitative approach and has exploratory and exploratory purposes descriptive. Therefore, the instruments to be used involve semi-structured interviews aimed at public managers, community and professionals who worked at the TCJ's Extension Center on Territorial Development (NEDET). The information was obtained through the application of the Google Forms questionnaire that were applied to the categorized audiences. The results showed that most municipalities are far from meeting the 2030 Agenda goals, the importance of developing systems, technologies and monitoring and evaluation tools, for the construction of measurable and powerful indicators in the management process, is a powerful tool for manage the city hall efficiently and also useful to identify several systemic failures, as they are exposed in the final considerations of this work.
